General tip for Any & All Hair Colors

Wait 24-48+ hours before washing.

Use sulfate free shampoo. Click here for recommendations

The sun will fade your color. Invest in a good hat if you'll be spending time in the sun.

Chlorine is the enemy. Pool, jacuzzi, and ocean water will fade or even strip your color.

Wash with cold or luke warm water. Hot water opens the cuticles allowing the color to escape sending your $$ down the drain.

Use conditioner always! Every time you get your hair wet.
Blondes, Caramel, Highlights, & Balayage

Purple Shampoo - cancels yellow, great for blondes, natural blondes, and salt/pepper hair

Wait a minimum of 4 weeks before using purple or blue shampoos.

Your conditioner should be hydrating, if your hair is overly stretchy the you need one that focuses on repairing.
Mermaids, Unicorns, Fun Colors

Try to wash your hair as minimal as possible. 1-2 days a week. 1 day a week is ideal for optimal longevity. Dry shampoo is your friend.

Wash with COLD water, warm & hot water will rinse the color.

Avoid swimming pools, the ocean, and jacuzzis. They will strip the color out.

Your color will fade a little bit each time when you get your hair wet.

Freshy colored hair will bleed so be prepared. Wear darker clothing and use a dark silk pillow case.

Turn your curling iron and flat iron temperature down. The lower settings are ideal.

Do not use purple or blue shampoo on your semi permanent fun color hair it will fade alot faster. Those products are meant for highlighted hair.
